Check whether subtitles already exist
Some MP4 files include optional caption tracks. If the subtitles are selectable in a player, you may be able to export or convert that track.
If the subtitles are only visible in the image or the file has no caption track, use transcription to create a new subtitle file.
Generate subtitles from speech
Upload the MP4, run speech recognition, and review the generated subtitle timeline. Good review focuses on names, terminology, punctuation, and line breaks.
Export SRT for broad compatibility, VTT for web publishing, or TXT when you need a transcript without timing.
Use the subtitles for localization
After extraction, translate the subtitle timeline into target languages and proofread it before publishing.
DelSubtitle supports extraction, proofreading, translation, and export in one browser-based workflow.
